re: Mt. St. Helen's crater glow visible again.
I was reading a narrative last week about a person (living in the state) who said the volcano's activity was "almost like clockwork." Early in the morning the volcano seems to rumble and then settle down as the day goes on.
Sometimes (in the morning), sunlight will reflect off of the crater and create an apparant glow as well.
We're lucky it's easy to keep track of it all - courtesy of the VolcanoCam. I must say, a very nice feature - even though we are dealing with geologic time.
The lava dome continues to expand - correct?
