Not good enough, but getting better. The key is this: The Intifada has pauperized the former middle class Palestinians who made their livings on tourism.
Now these guys will do ANYTHING to get money. They are not too fond of the terrorists who broke up their nice situation and are more than willing to sell them out. When I was over there, MANY Palestinians were driving new Mercedes autos and living in nice houses. I saw that with my own eyes. Now their cars, their homes, and sometimes their wives, have been confiscated by the terrorists.
