The equatorial wedge is one of the two choices for the ETX90.
It requires a simpler command than the autostar; I can't just choose a star and it goes there like with the autostar. Also, to set it up, I need to select mode and speed in a certain order which I keep forgetting (otherwise it thinks it's in the southern hemisphere). That's why I don't use it as much.
However, the equatorial wedge seems a lot more stable!!
And if I want to take a picture, stability is a must!
Maybe it's the motor that's not answering properly in the altazimutal mode.
