The internet, and (finally!) a rapid response from the Bush campaign, put it in perspective quickly.
And when the core report turned out to be a pro-DNC blog, it sort of fell apart.
Zogby's transparent attempt at an early call based on the skewed exit poll numbers, while voting was still underway, only damaged Zogby.
His former status as very insightful is now replaced by a reputaiton as a partisan hack.
