Besides, mortars don't kill people. Neither do weapons of mass destruction. Smallpox doesn't kill people. People kill people.
We should ask ourselves. Do we want to get rid of people, or guns?
Actually, there is no national will to stop these massacres. They are an acceptable price for people with poor self-esteem to prop up their feelings of inadequacy and vent their hostility toward those they perceive to be stronger. A massacre every few days is a small price to pay to help those people feel adequate to cope with the world. According to them.
