Current global warming might be caused by something besides CO2, but there is plenty of data to implicate CO2 and it is just plain ridiculous to think a continued rise in CO2 levels will not eventually have a major impact. Chemical equilibrium rules and thermodynamics just don't fit the don't worry be happy fantasy so many Republcans indulge in.
