I'm still not sure what. It's tempting to invoke the skills and new abilities of our security forces, but frankly, it's completely impossible to prevent small-scale (truckbomb type) attacks in a country this size. So where are they?

I've thought of a couple of completely foolproof ways to pull off an attack with no suspicious equipment whatsoever, and if I can, so could anyone else. So where are they?

Maybe the FBI and CIA are all that and a bag of chips. It's possible.

But I'm also willing to entertain the thought that maybe the premise that we are infested with terror cells imported over the past decade might be overblown.
