re: Also, mosques are being used for non-religious meetings.

Darn, I'm seeming like an apologist for radical Muslims here but Christians and Jews ALSO use their places of worship for non-religious meetings and activities. Mosques like other places of worship are cultural centers. The problem with Islam is that a radical fringe has managed to sieze control of a number of these sites and the other members are in denial. This is very similar to the Catholic Church in America and Boston in particular where a subculture of gay pedophiles managed to infiltrate and permeate the priesthood. The heirarchy, right up to Cardinal Law and the Bishops exacerbated the situation by not only covering it up but by re-assigning the pedophiles without prejudice to unwitting parishes. Only when America's free press (kudos to the commie pinko Boston Globe* et. al.) revealed the situation were the laity enabled to take concerted action. They actually had to fight the Church hierarchy. This same thing needs to happen in Muslim community. The problem there is worse because they are in denial and wrapped in victimhood (see CAIR). A denial abetted by the ACLU mentality of our media culture, loath to criticize Muslims and shed the light of truth on the corruptors of Islam.

* OK, I admit that the Globe's fav sport has been Catholic bashing
