Irony

Tom Brosz — 11/14/2004 10:09:49 PM (archived)

I'm wondering why nobody seems to want to comment on the massive irony of liberals in "blue states" complaining that their wealth is going to support people who pay nowhere near the taxes they do, yet get more goodies from the treasury than they do, and have just as much political power.

When I bring this kind of thing up, I am righteously informed that it is my social duty and privilege to have my hard-earned money siphoned off by people who didn't earn it.

Where is the term "mean-spirited" when you need it?
