Interesting article describing how this time we did not have the expected losses (dead American young folks) that the well established doctrines of urban warfare dictated. We also avoided the massive destruction and civilian slaughter of a Grozny. Well done. Yes, eggs were broken making this omlette and innocents died. Too many, but far, far less than in other conflicts. A tribute to US military tactics, training, planing and technology. Oh, most important of all a tribute to the superior American cultural character.
