However skillfully the Left tries to erase Saddam's regime from their own minds, the Iraqis don't forget that easily.

Most Iraqis don't "hate" us, much as that would fit into the Vietnam fantasy. They want us to kill the Baathists and Islamists, and leave. In short, they want us to win this war, not lose it.
