I've said over and over that those facts make us partially responsible for Saddam's actions and make it especially irresponsible to take the if I don't do anything I must be right approach.
Those facts have nothing to do with the debate about whether or not the Iraq war was only about wmd except that in my particular case it supports the view that it wasn't only about wmd.
