The last time I was there, after about a day and a half, I couldn't wait to leave. The noise was really getting to me.

It will be curious to see if I have the same experience the next time I visit...The city hasn't changed much but its possible that I have; otherwise, it could be that I was in a temporary anti-big city state of mind during that trip.

Chicago is a great place, I was real suprised at my "get me the hell outta here" reaction. It would really be frustrating to live there and then suddenly get that feeling. Especially in winter, there's no easy escape!
