The point is simple. The way profits are distributed.
Driving wages down, not paying benefits, creates more poverty and demands upon public benefits. No wonder that area of the government is growing - a dime may be saved by exporting a job, but it costs a dollar in public benefits to provide a minimum of care for those who lose their jobs and the communities in which they live.
