My guess is the CIA station chief's cable was selectively leaked to the MSM by someone who was earmarked for layoff or forced retirement. Bush's new CIA head is currently clearing out dead wood including people who were doing political leaks during the election. I suspect there will be more selective leaks as "last gasps" from different people having their CIA careers terminated.
