I think you are arguing...
...that if there were more items of note that would support this "trend", then your bloggers would certainly report them? Absence of appearing in your blogs implies that no such incidents exist?
Begs the question: if "hillbilly armor" practices are still going on, why haven't your bloggers reported it continuously for the last year? This absence would argue that their reporting is incomplete and cannot be used to dispute a trend, no?
