I guess as long as one clings to the belief that only foreign mercenraries and evil Baathists make up the insurgency, this would look like total lies.

Certainly it is propaganda, but it's interesting to note that when the insurgents say "if you're not with us, you're against us" it doesn't appear (to some people here) to mean the same thing as when GWB said it.

Personally I think the best course of action in Iraq would be the total and immediate withdrawl of the US. Saddam and his henchmen are gone. Continued occupation says to the Iraqi people "You are too savage and stupid to conduct your own affairs, and besides we want your oil."
