I originally started out in architecture school. My admiration for the designers of the great cathedrals was immense. No computers, no high-level math, but a remarkable set of creative engineering achievements that still stands today. Ate lunch at a little cafeteria right across the street from the side of Notre Dame, and got to stare at it at my leisure. A lot of restoration scaffolding, but what the heck.
