I don't have data on attacks on Iraqi civilians by the insurgents and terrorists.

It doesn't take a Cassandra to figure out that the violence between now and the election will go up, maybe drastically. The violence will be directed at Iraqis. The Usual Gang of Idiots will point to this as something surprising and shocking and a sign that we are certainly losing.

If the insurgents can stop the elections, or even postpone them, they will win this particular battle.
