Peter is right
and so are the sci fi novels .. it will take just over 5 years by our reckoning, but time onboard the spaceship (in its 'frame of reference') will pass only by a few moments.
Say you were travelling AT the speed of light .. then for you, the journey would be instantaneous, whereas for us groundhogs any light signal still takes X years to travel X light-years ..
