Y'see, your premise is wrong. All wrong, as is all that flows from it.

The Iraq aggression and subsequent slaughters was not for any legitimate purpose nor legal under any international law.

It was not to "free" or "liberate" the Iraqi people. It was not for "democracy".

If it were, the US would leave. The Iraqi people could vote, choose their own form of government, and it would be a theocracy under the dominate religious group.

That is what the majority would want.

Now, what the "left" doesn't support is raw, naked aggression against a nearly helpless third-world country for the purpose of handing Halliburton and the other oil cronies of Bush the resources which belong to the people of that country.

So, that which comes about as the result of that illegal, immoral aggression against the people is also illegal and immoral.

And all the ranting in the world does not give it any legitimacy. Not all the shills, the Chalabis, the DoD inspired blogs.

This one doesn't pass any test, let alone the smell test.
