It isn't a prediction, just a statement based on history. Within the next few months, you can count on some form of natural or manmade disaster striking somewhere in the world resulting in a lot of deaths and misery. It could be floods like what happened recently in the Philippines that killed hundreds of people, or another earthquake, or a typhoon hitting somewhere like Bangladesh, or some form of explosion, or something else. If you look back over the past, you'll see that disasters happen several times a year. Fortunately, massive disasters like the tsunami are pretty rare, but earthquakes that kill thousands aren't rare at all. Odds are, it has always been this way, only with today's communications technology, we hear about more of these things.
