Please be more specific regarding which observatories. Perhaps we can get real-time observations. I will want to contact their PR staff on behalf of my NBC News clients.

Green Bank in WVa will be one of several sites attempting to detect the Huygens beacon directly, rather than wait for the Cassini replay four hours later. THAT could be the most unambiguous first indication of a successful mission.
