The initial stories of Voskhod 2 of course report nothing but glorious success. It was only later that we learned how Leonov's suit overinflated while he did his spacewalk (more like just floating around, as he had no control jets or other means of controlling his EVA), which forced him to dangerously lower the suit pressure to get back into the spaceship. Then they ended up landing over 200 miles off target and spending a freezing night in the craft while wolves sratched at the outsided of the ship, apparently not very interested in the historic moment.
Jim Oberg complained in 1981 if we had known about the reality of this and other space events from the USSR, we might have avoided a few problem in our own manned space program.
