re: Anomalous rocks

We're saying the rocks are anomalous on sight. There's 'the blob', what's up with that? There's 'the worms'. You aren't even commenting. There are numerous textures and patterns that beg explanation. There is nothing anomalous about fossils on Mars anymore, Tom, the only thing anomalous is the inability of your normalist baseball fans to explain them away by geological thinking. I would be very happy if you could falsify any biological hypotheses for the morphologies that we are clearly observing. Go ahead, give it a try. I suspect it will be increasingly more difficult as we move further into these hills, and start to get some real spectroscopy results out of the nitwits that are running this rover program.

I recall not too long ago the mere mention of water on Mars was considered heresy in these parts.
