comm lapses post landing?

I thought you were referring to episodic
rather than continuous transmissions from
the surface.

At the ESA presser, they report that the probe initial spin rate
was 3.6 rpm, in the expected range.

Channel 'A' is funny, but 'channel B'
has good housekeeping data, science
data playback comes next.

ESA guy said that the probe was
still transmitting as recently was 1555 GMT,
frantic activity to arrange more radio telescopes
in Germnay and Holland, had no expectation
of it living this long.

That's FOUR AND A HALF HOURS after landing.
