I know this is a bit like divining the future by looking at tea leaves. However if you look off in the distance of that animated GIF, it looks like waves breaking on a sea shore.

Yes it could be due to some optical illusion or GIF/binary effect. I wish the image had better quality. One can interpret almost anything from it.
