It would have had to pass through a liquid phase first.
I think we both have pretty well narrowed in on the correct interpretation
of what we are seeing on the animation, with some minor differences.
I'd be surprised if the ESA scientists perceive it much differently.
Oh!...About a HZ thread I posted in late October indicating that wheeled rovers might get "stuck" on Titan.
Well...At least where Huygens landed, it appears my supposition was correct.
