No matter what you think Dubya can accomplish.
He can only push Congess so far! They have their own agenda too!
And where the hell is NASA going to get
engineers and scientists if it keeps laying them off?

You can't keep running a space agency that way and not expect
a serious decline in say 10 years.
That's the problem with living in North America, WE DON'T THINK off the consequences, 10 to 20 years down the road.
NASA will not decline, IT IS DECLINING, and the situation is not getting any better,
no matter what the MER rovers and Cassini have and will accomplish!
