If i had a dime for every time I saw either here or a blog "Wow, even the NYT/WaPo/elitist liberal scum-sucking media is saying it" I'd have no room left on my desk.
Good news stories from Iraq are out there, have been out there and for the most part get completely ignored.
When noticed, the complaint goes up "Waah, they didn't put it in 18 inch headlines on the front page".
It's getting really old.

Or is it because the right wing talk shows and blogs have done such a good job of telling them "The media is biased against you. They want you to fail and dont care if you die doing so".
But then YOU believe that anyway.

For my part, I still maintain the media is just plain awful.

I'm convinced that the media back in the United States is totally unaware that there are other citys in Iraq besides Baghdad. I've stopped paying attention to the news because I'm sick of hearing about Baghdad, and whats going on down in Baghdad. When it got crazy here last week, there was hardly any talk about Mosul in any of the major news networks, and it got just as bad here as anything that has ever happened down there. And thats always been then case with Mosul and the media up here.
