The ramification of that argument...
...is that Washington should plug the holes in their screening system and rerun the election. Not going to happen.
It is not a good argument that one or another candidate should be made governor.
Even if they did rerun the election I can guarantee that after doing so, if a clever attourney needed to show more holes, then he could find them.
Good idea to address this before the next election.
