They build them pretty good in Newport News

I downloaded the hires of that image. Speaks for it’s self.
14 million pounds of 360 foot long Nuclear Submarine slams into an undersea mount at something like 35 miles per hour. Heard it went from 30+ knots to 4 knots instantly.
It is amazing that the entire crew and boat were not lost.
Even more remarkable, USS San Francisco successfully steamed 350 miles back to her home port of Guam.
