Space/Science » in reply to 5 new gas giant planets - one in the habitable zone?

re: HD 188015 b

Hi, Ken.

The star is like ours, a G5 with high Fe with a 1.08 solar mass.

The planet has mass of 1.26 Jupiters with an eccentricity of 0.15... a gas giant that happens to be in the habitable zone would be safe to say (extrasolar.net has it as a 'water giant' :). Can't rule out the possibility of there not being a rocky Mercury-type planet closer to that sun though.

Thanks for posting these (the No.1 question when looking up :)
