Formerly high-paying jobs are going to India and elsewhere, while he hash-slinging jobs grow more common. I am not blaming anybody, but that is the way the world economy works. The most important fact is that exports are NOT growing significantly in response to the devalued dollar. This is due, in my opinion, to the gross stupidity of managers of potential exporters who are simply to goddam stupid to see the opportunities. They are used to selling in the USA, and the lay off workers when the markets decline, but they never even look at foreign markets. They don't know foreign languages. They don't give a damn about exports. They just do not care to do anything differently than they did yesterday.
