Idiocy, as usual.

The USA permitted the sale of various chemicals since they were legal. For example: isopropyl alcohol is an ingredient in "binary" nerve gas systems. It also has thousands of other uses. Similarly for the rest.

As far as anthrax is concerned, it is a major cattle and sheep problem, and the bacterium is required in the preparation of vaccines. Furthermore, although standard strains are used for vaccine production, it is VERY common. If the Iraqis were hard pressed for the stuff, they coud go out in their back yards and dig for it. They would find it.

First you say that we sold them WMDs. Then you come up with common ordinary stuff that is sold every day on the open market all over the world. Hell, I could list a THOUSAND chemicals that could be used in chemical warfare that you can buy at any chemical supply house, but I don't want to give people ideas.

We sold them NO nerve gas. No nerve gas shells. No weaponized bacteria suitable for release. (Bacteria tend to clump and agglutinate. Weaponized bacteria are coated with dispersal agents to prevent coherence.) No warheads for releasing same. In short, we sold them NO WMDs.
