I'm suggesting that in the end money will be cut from the blue areas, those that didn't vote for Bush, and NOT from the red areas, those that did.

The rhetoric will be that the subsidies have been slashed, farmers are starving, everyone is having to pay the price, and there will be tear-jerking interviews with one or two. That will be the party line.

The reality will be that farm subsidies will remain about the same or increase while programs for people, such as health care, will be sharply reduced.

And to tell where the cuts are and aren't made, look at the election results.
