Bouncing in the back seat...

I watch the pictures pretty closely, which has been easier since someone on this board clued me into the Exploratorium Site, which often has the pictures before the official site does (although not so much in recent days). I try and figure out where they are, where they're going, and how far until they get to a certain goal. When they are trucking along, the movement in the hazcams is pretty obvious.

When there is a corner to be turned, or an overlook to be reached, I get even more eager. It seemed to take forever for Opportunity to get to a point where it would get out of that little crater, and forever again before we got to see what was inside Endurance. When Spirit stopped to look at more rocks just a few yards short of the overlook, I thought I'd bust.

If the rover was a car, I'd be the kid bouncing in the back seat asking "are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

Gak. All the Feb. 8th Spirit pancam pictures up on the Exploratorium site are shots of the dirt and rocks near the rover. Bounce! Bounce!
