How did this get to be about me?
I think the topic is the right-wing, possibly subsidized, blogs which get posted here.
It ain't me.
And, since it is "Off-Topic", I read a tremendous amount. History, biographies and memoirs are my favorites.
Right now by my bed are "Only Too Human" by Stephanopoulos, "People of the Lake" by Leakey, and "Casino" by Peleggi.
By the way, by Leakey's definition, the US is NOT an affluent society. And the first truly affluent society was hundreds of thousand years ago.
I'll post that sometime. It's illuminating.
