Yeah, well, I'm not sure I have the answer. I suck at using mathematics to come up with integer answers to even simple questions (impatience, lazyness, silly mistakes, and I find it tedious and uninteresting 'book-keeping'), however I can have some pretty interesting conversations with folks who are pretty good in mathematics. I think the best way to put it is that wehn Mathematics and computer science have to deal with foundational issues, Logic is often the tool they apply- but even then there are differences in notation and and assumptions.
