I disagree. There is no cure for stupid. People are forever getting conned out of their money, and in this case, their lives. I suspect that a significant portion of the "suicide bombers" have absolutely no idea of what fate is intended for them by their leaders. They think that they are going to collect some cash and the bad stuff is going to happen to somebody else.
