Yes, that's the fellow's name.
I suspect he's an amateur astronomer, but I know little more than
what he has on his website. How he got his info? I do not know.
But obviously, Nick, there has been "slumpage, avalanches, and maybe even sapping"
on the walls and cliffs of Schroter's Valley over time, so obviously the valley floor of Schroter's Valley is at least partly filled in. I see where you're getting at, Nick.

By all means, surf over there.
Incidently, an occasional cascade or avalanche of very fine, electrostatically charged lunar
dust coming down from the steep walls of Schroter's Valley may explain the TLP events observed by astronomers for over 100 years...The Apollo missions showed that the moon is subject to moonquakes of upto 2 to 3 on the Richter Scale from time to time, enough to
shake loose fine dust from steep cliffs.

My info comes from David O. Darling.
