While I'm not a connoisseur or even a regular listener of symphonic music I do enjoy it and have attended a couple performances.

I'm a fan of Yanni and attended his Tribute concert several years ago. The live sound coming from his professional elitist orchestra is stimulating and the sound from the woods (my favorite) gave me goose bumps.

Most of Yanni's aggressive high-powered style is not of the average symphonic composure but it sure is delightfully interesting.

I exposed my daughter to classic symphonic music as therapy for stress when she became pregnant and it worked so good she nearly drove her husband out of the house. ;-)
