I don't know what was done to prevent airplanes from flying into the White House during the ensuing 6 years.

I DO know that G W Bush had as his National Security Advisor on 9 - 11 a woman who claimed ignorance of the entire concept. Apparently hadn't thought of the idea. Couldn't imagine anyone thinking of it. That was the reason for not being concerned re the FBI reports.

Sad story. Sorry lady, really. Probably a great person, but she was caught in a statement which is damning if true and equally damning if not true.

Doesn't give a body much confidence in her integity and veracity, and/or her qualifications for the position she was occupying on 9-11.

That's just kind of hard to avoid.
