Go ahead, jump to conclusions again Eby. It won't be the first time.
The first time I heard about rapid prototyping - and the larger concept of von Neumann machines - was 25 years or so ago (1979 I think) at a SSI conference in Prineton NJ. They were talking about ways to make components - in situ - for Solar Power Satellites and L-5 habitats.
Had you been sitting in design reviews during the SSF program in 90-92 you would have heard me - and others - talking about how interesting - and useful - it would be to do something like this on the space station.
As for English lessons, once again, Eby, go read your initial post. In

wherein you have to explain what you meant to say in the first place. Perhaps you should work a bit more on what you mean to say - before you say it.
