It's a habit from working in the real world where you have to make decisions quickly and get things done rather than debating endlessly going nowhere like NASA for the past few decades. Guilty as charged. Really Keith if that's the best you've got in barbs you're slipping. Another couple of industry related habits are not getting all uptight over minor differences of opinion and admitting when your wrong. You should really try these things out for your blood pressure.
I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your state of ignorance over the website as general ignorance on the subject of RP. However, rapid prototyping does not equate with Von Neumann machines in general and my comment was with regard to RP not whether or not you had ever heard of the scifi staple of Von Neumann machines. I'm pretty sure they weren't talking about RP as an option in 1979 for Von Neuman machines so your reply sounds a bit more like a cover up of ignorance than proof you knew about this before. But hey, if you state clearly you knew about RP as a distinct technology with potential space applications years ago I'll believe you.
As for my original post I said nothing about 0g application of RP so I don't see why you think pointing that out qualifies as poor English in the first post. petty petty.

Mark
