re: Assumptions

Your forty-year-old quotes don't impress anyone. Dyan has been dead for twenty years. And I could fill pages with much more recent quotes from Palestinians and Arabs about Jews and Israelis that would fry your ears. What's the point?

The "Palestinians" exist as a political group for a single reason: to act as cannon fodder for the Arab people and nations seeking to drive Israel into the sea. Period. Palestinians who promote violence win power. Palestinians who want coexistence and peace are typically ignored or killed. When they have their own state, the only difference will be a new staging point for their terror efforts.

The Arabs could have solved the Palestinian problems of poverty and displacement thirty times over throughout the past fifty years, but then who would carry the bombs?

The leader of the Palestinians tucked billions of dollars away in his own accounts while his people were in poverty. Odd that this doesn't seem to bother some people who can get apoplexy at the mention of Halliburton billing practices.

Where was the Palestinian State when Jordan owned the West Bank for decades and could have created one with a pen stroke? Hell, that's how Jordan was created.

I also continue to be amazed at how the entire occupation issue can be discussed while utterly ignoring the three Arab wars of extermination against Israel that resulted in that occupation. It's kind of like trying to discuss WWII' effect on Japan without ever mentioning atomic bombs.

I present again, the map of the U.N.-created Israel as it would have been if the Arabs had not decided to kill every Jew there.
