Liberals and Islamic fascists seem to believe the world is "black and white". In their fantasy world, all moral decisions are based upon a simple set of easily understood rules that are engraved in stone somewhere (presumably written by Noam Chomsky).
Real world decisions almost always involve judging from shades of gray where you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.
The mark of a good leader is he/she can process a large amount of information quickly and then make a clear decision. The good leader never waits for perfect knowledge because that can never happen (there is always uncertainty). The distinction between a good leader and an excellent leader is knowing when to stop processing new information and make the tough choice.
