It would be cool to look at.
A small radio-isotope generator could power each laser.
The lasers don't have to be super-powerful, I don't think,
to be visible in an amateur astronomer's telescope, maybe even binoculars.
Three colorful points of light shining from the dark side of the moon for a few days
or months? Awesome, dude!
As for the conspiracy theorists? Hey! let them fade away in their folly.
Their beliefs are their substitute for religion.
They may even fade away into oblivion like the "flat-earth society".
