Does it matter?
Bush is now a lame duck President. He'll probably leave politics altogether after he completes this term. He doesn't and shouldn't care about MSM opinion polls. Good public opinion is something that he should be spending down now. The Congress is Republican controlled. Who ever is anointed as the next Republican presidential candiidate will have to repair public opinion. That process doesn't begin until 2007.
