I wonder, if the moderator can't be taken seriously, because a poster ignores him, why should ANYONE care what the moderator says?
This is where I get confused why we need a moderator at all.

I realize nobody has weighed in on this except you and me Bowser, and nobody wants to touch this with a ten foot pole. However, I agree with you.....why should ANYBODY care what the moderator thinks.......if a poster blatantly ignores what the moderator says in the first place?

I guess this issue matters to me, but I'm not letting it get out of hand.
If the moderator had told ME to SHUT UP and "go away for a week", RL would be driven to madness if I posted and would be throwing up all over this boards, screaming in protest.

However, I think it IS prudent to mention it, and I'm really disappointed that most all the posters are mum about it, because if you can't take the moderator seriously, then who DO you take seriously?

And Robert Shepherd, I'm sorry if this is giving you another headache you don't need right now. Maybe you can get RL to apologize for his ungentlemanly behaviour in ignoring your wishes.
